New to fundraising? Below are a few tips to help you get started:
- Customize your fundraising page. This is an easy way to let people know why you're raising money and will encourage people to donate.
- Make a list of everyone you know. Create a list of everyone you know. Think outside of friends and family to any community group affiliations, co-workers, or recreation leagues.
- Communicate often. Once you have your list, make sure you e-mail, call, write a letter or drop off a flyer about your campaign. Be sure to include the link to your fundraising page so it's easy for people to make a donation.
- Post on social. Use our social media graphics below to spread the word on social media. This is a fast and easy way for people to learn about your campaign and donate.
