Thank you for supporting our family with honoring the memory of our Dad, Louis "Buddy" Mores.  

Through the amazing transplant program at Columbia, Dad was able to receive a double lung transplant in 2010.  With the gift of these lungs, we were given 10 extra years with Dad.  Ten extra years of birthdays, holidays, celebrations, Sunday dinners and summers at the shore.  The most special thing about the lung donation, was that it gave Dad a new title of of "Pop Pop".  

The family appreciates you helping to raise funds for the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Columbia University Irving Medical Center. 

Your donation will go directly toward lung transplant major research initiatives as well as education for young doctors to become transplant specialist at Columbia.  

Your donation will also help pay it forward and give other families the tremendous gift of life as we received.  The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Selim Arcasoy and Maggie Carroll P.A. and the rest of the lung transplant team at Columbia.  The lung transplant team were more than doctors and care providers, they were our heroes and became our friends and truly cared about Dad.
