Hi! My name is Kaylee Seekon. I am one of the pediatric diabetes educators at the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center.
I am lacing up my running shoes for the ultimate challenge: the NYC Marathon! I'm hitting the pavement not just for personal achievement, but to support something near and dear to my heart—the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center.
As an educator at the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center, I've witnessed firsthand the incredible work this organization does. They're not just treating diabetes; they're changing lives. From cutting-edge research to compassionate patient care and innovative education programs, the center is a beacon of hope for those living with diabetes and their families.
One of the reasons I became an educator is because my sister was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The educator who supported us during that time reassured me that everything would be okay. Now, it has come full circle, and working alongside families affected by type 1 diabetes has become my dream job. I am dedicated to providing them with the same support and reassurance that made such a difference to me.
By donating to my marathon run, you'll be directly supporting the center's mission to provide top-notch care and resources to those affected by diabetes.
Together, let's make every mile count. Join me in supporting the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center and help make a difference in the lives of so many. Thank you for your generosity and support!
